1980 Martin D-28.
Late era non truss rod model (post '67 square tube steel reinforced neck).
Nice and open-sounding with a beautifully ambered spruce top.
Constructed with some really nicely grained Indian Rosewood. Neck geometry is acceptable for most but by no means perfect. Strung with 11's the bass side is sitting at 3.25mm and treble 2.50mm with a touch more relief than you'd ideally want. Saddle is on the low side and is unoriginal to the guitar.
To me it's totally within a playable range for a Martin guitar, particularly for low down flat picking and fingerstyle, however I cannot speak for all... either way this one has been priced accordingly and is definitely worth neck resetting in the future.
Includes a non-branded period hard case with a neat looking crushed velvet lining.
