Relatively rare early 1980s 'Samurai' series of Yamaha.
Built on a S/S/S platform with a 5-way switch providing you with some timeless single coil tones.
One of the more idiocyncratic instruments Yamaha produced in their 1980s period and as such have developed a cult following.
This example sounds great however does have some issues.
The truss rod is currently maxed out forcing the action on the bass side of the instrument to sit higher than you'd ideally want and the machine heads are on the tired side even after being lubricated.
Having said this, we've adjusted the guitar to sit where it's going to play best without any choking or buzzing and many people would still find this guitar to be totally playable.
For those who dig it as it stands or fancy a bit of a project, there are some dollars to save here!
