Straight out of the golden era when Ibanez was quietly outclassing the big names, this 1983 RoadsterII is all about no-nonsense craftsmanship and tone. Classic Japanese build quality, ash body, comfortable maple neck, and a straightforward pickup setup—ready to handle anything. It comes with its fair share of scratches and dents, but it’s still an amazing option for someone after a P-Bass vibe, just a little different. This model was only made for one year. The bridge has been upgraded to a hi-mass brass beast of a thing, and a previous owner has gotten creative with the size of screws in the pickguard.
