Description
An early Fender Japan reissue model from 1985, built during the highly regarded Fujigen era. This ST72 features the correct large ’70s headstock, bullet truss rod, 3-bolt neck plate, and rosewood board. Finished in Olympic White that has mellowed nicely with age.
At 3.55kg, it’s light and well balanced. The guitar remains in unusually clean condition for its age, with only minor signs of play. A strong example of the first-wave MIJ reissues that helped re-establish Fender’s reputation in the mid-’80s.
