A special-order MIJ Tele from the mid-80s with a lightweight ash body and a natural finish that’s seen some life. Honest wear around the edges, but that's how we like them. Multi-ply black guard, steel saddles, and the usual Gotoh-made Fender Japan tuners. Neck designation is a TL67-70SPL, body wears an 'ORDER' stamp which places it as a custom order. In any sense we've got a pretty unique set of features here. Maple cap fretboard... lightweight Ash body... steel saddles etc... Plays cleanly, feels broken-in and does Telecaster like it should. I mean we're talking a mid 1980s axe here... that's wild these have ticked over 40 years old! Ah well, they definitely stood the test of time! Made in Japan. Serial E713035. Includes a gig bag.
