This thing is totally the Les Paul you want. Greatest colour, excellent period of time for Gibson when they were clawing their way back to the top of the pile after the glam Super Stratocaster type guitar of the earlier 1980s.
Feels like Gibson were not counting beans at this time, they were more concerned with making great guitars.
Original frets are still intact, and have plenty of life left. Gold hardware has tarnished (as you'd expect) Beautiful Ebony fretboard. Some checking on the sides, binding has of course creamed off. Pickups have been changed to early 90s Gibson '57 Classics..which I reckon have been in there a long time, as they look like they were always there.
My colleague is prying this out of my hands as I write this..my inability to buy this guitar at the moment can be your gain.
Made in the USA, comes with the original Chainsaw/Protector Gibson case.
