Solid late 80's build Orville by Gibson. Oh, this is exactly the kind of thing I'd enjoy gigging with. Special, rare and unique but not an American-made golden era 'don't even look at it' piece. Nice mojo. Orville by Gibson '61 SG in a rare colour loaded from factory with (my personal favourite) Gibson 'The Original' Bill Lawrence humbuckers. Absolute featherweight. Plenty of fret life and a truss rod that is happy to tweak both directions. Some sticker tan and nicotine on back, which saves you the trouble of having to put it there yourself. Includes a gig-friendly Orville branded vinyl gig bag and oh-so-fancy Orville strap with rainbow stitching! Made in Japan for the domestic market. Serial number G895261. Weight, 2.9kg.
