An early Terada-built Jet that shows exactly why these Japanese Gretsches built their reputation. Big headstock, silver-flake sparkle top, and all the right late-50s cues. This one has been properly played in, with heavy use across the board that only makes it cooler. The vibe is undeniable, and it’s no wonder Gretsch later reissued this exact spec as the 6129-89.
It’s loud, resonant, and the filter-style pickups deliver that sharp edged snap and shimmer you expect when you plug a Jet into a cooking amp. The wear tells the story of a life on stage, but everything that matters is holding up, and the guitar feels perfectly broken-in. I love this thing.
