Description
We often get asked for player grade 1990s J-45s... this one will be sure to tick that box for someone.
This has the bones of a good one, chunkier neck than you typically see in this era.
Nice amount of age to the finish too.
Sounds big, dry and bold.
Now this one is definitely a player... hear me out.
The top has a repaired crack down the centre seam (stable).
The bridge saddle has been shaved down pretty far (there's a tad more height left in it and the guitar has a very playable action).
The instrument has been re-fretted with wider than stock wire which feels great (cool) and when this was done the fingerboard was planed down towards the soundhole end to increase the neck angle and partially correct a twist in the neck due to a truss rod that is currently at its limit.
As mentioned, the guitar plays and sounds great in its current form and has had all the work required to keep the guitar going as it sits for decades to come.
Priced accordingly.
Anyway, come inspect this wee beaut in the flesh, it won't disappoint!
