Description
The King Of The Flat Tops'.
A very rare Gibson SJ-200 produced in August 1994 limited numbers (100 to be exact) for Gibson's Centennial Year.
A modernised version of the 1948 SJ200.
As you can imagine, this is not just a rare guitar but it also sounds absolutely incredible too. As you can imagine, it has been played.
Slight lacquer separation on the seam on the top. Truss is working well. Factory Stinger and small gold plaque on the back of the headstock. Some surface scratches as you'd expect. Frets are in good condition with plenty of life left.
The most incredible flame maple, and absolutely no expense spared with wood selection, construction, anything.
Comes in the original hardshell case, with Gibson humidifier, Pre-pack checklist, and an August 1994 Centennial Collection paper, Owners manual, and Yamano Music owners manual.
Purple shroud inside the case proudly proclaims 1894-1994 Gibson 100 years, and the outside of the case includes a Gibson leather luggage label.
As I am writing this Ben is playing this from across the shop, and I can tell you..I'm sure this guitar will make the new owner extremely happy.
Made in the Bozeman, Montana, USA.
