Uncle Herb's 165 is a riff on the classic electric spanish shape with a few of his preferences. 16-inch wide laminated maple hollowbody with dual f-holes, one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded "jazz" profile. Medium-thick C profile but very comfy. Bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl parallelogram inlays, 20 frets.Hardware: Electronics: Single neck humbucker (a Gibson 490R) with two transparent amber speed knobs mounted on the top, rather than the scratchguard. Rosewood bridge with fully adjustable gold ABR-1 style saddle, art deco tailpiece. Gold tulip grovers. 8.5/10 fret life left with all its binding nibs, very minimal playwear. Obviously the previous owner wore a nice shirt and kept his buttons well covered. Currently strung up with Thomastik flats and sounding absolutely herbacious. Comes in its original hard shell case, made in the USA SN #91285542 - weighs a paltry 3kg.
