Description
Once again confirming that the 90s were a good decade and any statements to the contrary should be disregarded, we have a jubilant ES-335 in a finish other than cherry for once. Some very tasteful figuring to the maple top of this one, helped by some subtle finish checking and playworn gloss. Nickel hardware, binding and plastics all aged nicely to go with it. Frets are in great shape, very little playwear and binding nibs in tact with no gaps. Just either side of the nut there has been some separation of the binding from neck, but it's been stabilised and crucially it's not the fingerboard itself. You can feel a li'l lapped edge if you run your thumb over it, but it doesn't affect playability in any way. Burstbucker pickups, plastic still on the scratchplate, electrics all original, grover rotomatics with great patina on them... it's a ripper. Join him or die, can you do any less? SN 93018431, no original case for this one, It was banished to the realm of wind and ghosts. We can find something for any interested parties.
