Heavily played in but structurally clean. No breaks, no drama. The black finish has plenty of wear and looks all the better for it. This one has something special. The guitar feels alive and lived in.
The G string tuner is missing its cap but works perfectly. Knobs are mismatched. Easy to revert the thing back to factory if you were that way inclined. The real win here is the finish. Factory black is a fairly rare finish for a 335 of any era and gives it a very different look to the usual cherry and sunburst examples. Set off really nicely by the naturally yellowed binding too!
