Later re-named to the Studio Premium Plus, this guy takes the LP Studio and cranks up the visual volume with a flamed maple top. Otherwise standard features and spec - the same body and neck carve, scale, frets, hardware, rosewood board and 490R/498T Humbuckers as the Les Paul Studios of this era.
At just about 25 years old, this guitar now more or less qualifies as "vintage". Don't believe me? Rubber Soul was 25 years old in 1990. How does that make you feel? It's okay - you can probably fill the void that I've just opened in your soul with a 2001 Les Paul Studio Plus in Wine Red, beating down the incessant thrum of mortality once more. Nothing lasts forever in the cold november rain, but guitars endure pretty good.
