Originally supplied to Shearer's Music in NZ, this is a standard EA80C/12 with 2 unusual features.

Firstly it has the name 'Paul Thompson' on the label (stock from factory - apparently Maton would let you spec your name on the label back then). Also, it has Tommy Emmanuel's signature on the bottom bout.

 Featuring a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Blackwood back and sides, Queensland Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, Blackwood veneer keyhole headstock, Blackwood outer binding, herringbone inner binding and rosette, gloss finish, and gold Grover Rotomatic machine heads. It's also fitted with a Maton AP5 pickup.

Made in Australia, in the Maton workshop...where Kangaroos and Kookaburras frolic next to the workers while they build guitars among the gum trees, with lots of plum trees. Idyllic.
