Sachar Amos is a Melbourne-based master luthier known for his classical guitars and custom stringed instruments. His work blends traditional lutherie with a distinctive personal touch, producing instruments that are both visually striking and acoustically exceptional. Using aged, carefully selected woods and time-honoured techniques, Sachar builds each piece with an emphasis on authenticity, tone and long-term durability.
This example is a bespoke Weissenborn-style guitar built in 2007.
It’s in stunning condition with barely a mark on it. Light, extremely resonant and loaded with sustain, it’s a joy to play solo and easily cuts through in an ensemble.
Crafted from lovely solid Tasmanian Blackwood, it delivers a clear, expressive voice.
