A stunning SJ-200 with the good stuff going on. Old enough to feel lived in. Uncommon VOS finish gives it that gentle aged glow, and the maple on this one is seriously flamed. Big, open voice with that classic SJ-200 sweep. While many consider a 200 as being a big bold strummer, the focussed maple / spruce pairing creates a voice exceptionally well suited for fingerstyle. Townes Van Zandt famously played a late era SJ-200 doing exactly that. We don't see many of these come through the door, arguably because, for most people these instruments become lifers.
