Gretsch Roundup Jet reissue in all its weird, western-flavoured glory.
One of the more left-of-centre re-issues Gretsch has done... tooled leather rim and all!
Apparently, back in the day the rims were made using tooled leather belts... rad.
It’s been played to absolute buggery, with a level of genuine wear you just do not see every day ona model that when found is generally a case queen... this one is properly road-worn.
Condition-wise, it’s a real player.
The neck has a slight twist to the bass side, though it does not affect playability with the current setup, sitting at 1.75mm on the bass side and 1.5mm on the treble at the 12th fret, which is comfortably under spec.
Frets could use a dress if you’re heavy-handed with bends, but it’s otherwise a very usable and vibey guitar.
Gold hardware is heavily tarnished throughout.
Melita bridge intact and adjustable.
The Bigsby arm has been broken, though the assembly still functions and a replacement arm can be sourced easily!
