A very solid example of the 2011 Custom Classic, and a reminder of how good these can be once they’ve had some time under the fingers.
Finished in Ebony and weighing in at a very manageable 3.9kg, this one sits on the lighter side and benefits hugely from it.
The guitar has light, honest playwear throughout and is missing the pickguard, which suits the look nicely and keeps things clean. Just gently used and well settled.
These have a slightly leaner, more immediate feel than a full-fat Les Paul Custom, and this one has clearly benefited from years of playing. It’s responsive and balanced.
A very usable modern Gibson that doesn’t feel stiff or green anymore, with sensible weight, classic looks, and the right amount of wear to keep it honest.
