Custom Shop J-45 in everyone’s favourite colour… Black (Ebony). These 2010s J-45s take stylistic cues from the exceptionally collectable black 1968 originals, with a few tweaks. Nice sizeable neck and a full-size nut width, as opposed to the skinny neck spec of the originals. Less common adjustable bridge model (dig!)
A couple of changes here too. The pickguard has been replaced with a nice-looking thick bevel white guard. Don’t sweat, the screws are there for aesthetic purposes only, the screw heads are stuck on. The original thin guard with the Gibson logo is included, but the thick one is the biz to my eyes.
Great condition overall. The top is nice and clean with a bit of playwear. The rear of the instrument, if you catch it in the right light, has the ghost of some stickers that were once adhered there. Frets are good. Truss is good. DAS IS GOOD.
