An English built guitar that is really something else. Ordered from Stefan Sobell and made in 2012, this is a Martin Simpson model. Malaysian Blackwood back and sides, Wengé neck, German Spruce soundboard, American Sitka Spruce bracing and Nigerian Ebony bridge and fingerboard. It's kind of impossible to articulate just how good this guitar sounds, it is easily one of the finest modern acoustics that I have ever had my hands on. Excels with fingerpicking but of course a great thing to strum too. The guitar is in truly lovely condition, was sent back to Sobell in Northumberland to have the top factory refinished. Comes with the original Calton flight case, a work of art in itself. I'd highly recommend a demo if this if you are in the market for a hands down exceptional acoustic, that you could own for a lifetime. Made in England SN MS47 #113.
