Korea made Gretsch 5420.
Very well built thing, that may or may not knock newer Gretsch guitars off the perch.
Somewhere in the world, there may be a Gretsch fight club...pitting Gretsch against Gretsch. It could be an invitation only thing, I'm not sure...and I may have just blown my chances of joining by talking, or writing in this case about it.
Enough of my yakking.
Korean made G5420..if there is a first rule, this is it. Comes with, or is, a hardcase.
