Gorgeous 1958 'R8' Les Paul re-issue from the early 2010's era. One of the nicer flametops I've seen in recent years. Beautiful condition with only minor playwear and the typical oxidisation on the nickel parts you see from the VOS treatment bedding over a few years. The neck on this one is quite unique too... typically modern '58 re-issues had quite chunky, wide shoulders to them, this one is much softer on that front... I'd say it feels more like a real deal vintage 1959 Gibson neck profile (somewhat comparable to the '59 Les Paul Special we've got instore at the minute). One owner from new - even includes the original sales receipt. Serial number #841557. Weight is on the lighter end of the range at 4.15kg. Includes the original Gibson hardcase, certificate of authenticity and original case candy. This one is a goodun!
