Nicely played in example of Martin's flagship modern dreadnought.
Some pick marks have worn into the spruce top which is a nice thing to see on a guitar which, more often than not tends to be wrapped in cotton wool.
Some pretty cool features on these models. Herringbone purfling with maple binding. Ebony fingerboard. Gold Waverley machine heads, carbon fibre bridge plate with Liquidmetal bridge pins, a VTS (torrefied) top, the 'Vintage Deluxe' neck with high-performance taper profile and a 1 3/4'' nut.
The guitar is freshly serviced and running Martin Lifespan 13-56's.
Action is currently on the higher side (well, essentially your bluegrass spec) but well within spec and plenty of room to go down if that's your jam.
With a relatively straight neck (minimal relief) we're at 3.25mm on the bass side, 3mm on the treble side with around 3.5mm of height on the saddle protruding from the bridge. Truss rod is good.
