A lightly aged but resonant ash body, one-piece quartersawn maple neck, and relic’d nitro finish all point straight to 1951—but there’s a humbucker in the neck slot, and it changes the whole conversation. The bridge pickup handles classic Tele duties: dry, cutting, articulate. But roll over to the neck and it gets rounder, thicker—warmer in a way that's just as comfortable in overdriven blues as it is in mellow jazz voicings.
The chunky ’51 U neck carve, 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets make for a surprisingly expressive and playable feel. It’s got all the charm of an old workhorse but none of the fight.
