Gosh, I've gotta say I love a Les Paul with double white pickups...but of course...this Classic didn't come out this way..The pickups have been upgraded to a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the Bridge position and a Dimarzio PAF in the Neck. Also, an Emerson Wiring Harness has been fitted. The guitar is in very nice condition, couple of tiny marks on the headstock where it was hung up at some point, but otherwise, just light surface scratches. Plugged in this thing rips..I have to stop myself from fumbling through Earl Slicks part on 'Station to Station' and I reckon there is something really cool about a (70s style) high output pickup smashing the front end of a non master volume amp. Great, no excuse modern Gibson Classic, that will have a good go at settling any 'they don't make em like they used to' argument. Made in USA SN 200910087 Weight: 4.25kgs
