Gorgeous 2021 custom shop D-28 from the undisputed champs of the USA acoustic guitar, and proof that modern Martins are not to be underestimated
This one deviates a hair from the classic D-28 formula by pulling in recognisable bits from other models (i.e. herringbone binding, snowflake inlays, scalloped bracing) and features Cocobolo for back, sides, board and matching headstock/headplate. VTS Premium Sitka spruce top with the boltaron style 28 rosette and an Aged Toner finish rub complete the package.
