We'd love to tell you exactly which iconic guitar inspired it, but history suggests that sort of honesty tends to result in strongly worded letters from expensive lawyers. Suffice to say, if you know, you know. Finished in a beautifully aged Burgundy Mist nitro with the all-important matching headstock, it's every bit as convincing as instruments from certain much larger manufacturers only with a level of attention to detail that's hard to match. The lightweight alder body is paired with a rock maple neck and a dark Indian rosewood fingerboard loaded with Jescar nickel frets. A vintage-correct 7.25" radius, comfortable C-shaped neck profile and clay-style dot inlays make for an instantly familiar playing experience. Hardware and electronics are equally impressive, with a set of Lollar '58 JM pickups, a Mastery M1 bridge, Descendant V4 vibrato, and Gotoh brass-post machine heads. It all comes housed in a brand new SKB hard case. This is a brand new instrument offered on behalf of the builder, giving you the chance to be its first owner for a fraction of what a certain similarly shaped guitar would cost while getting significantly better components and appointments.
