Description

1950s Teisco EP-6 Archtop.

Deadset blues machine...and when you got the blues, well, you've got the blues.

Nice little bit of early Japanese Guitar manufacture, light build, very cool.

The pickup in the neck sounds ace too, really nice.

Recent restring with 10-46 has this thing popping good..I'm sure it could even go up to open E tuning no worries.

Has 2 weird holes near the 14th fret, and the eyelet screw that was used as a strap pin and is in the photos, has now been removed.  Consequently there is no strap pin at at the butt end, go figure.

Who cares ultimately, this is a damn fine early thing, that sounds as good, or perhaps even better, than it looks.

Made in Japan, fun times are guaranteed.

No case, should fit in a dready case I'd imagine, not that it will be spending much time in there.

"Pop music is aspirin and the blues are vitamins" - Peter Tork.

PS. There is a fret inlay on the 10th fret with small red dot?! Your guess is as good as mine. Weight: 1.65kgs
