Description
British Invasion guitar.
Form a band, slash the speaker, play R & B, blues, mutate into psychedelia, make a concept album, dress in Carnaby Street finery, get ripped off by a old school, hard ass, world weary, astute, psychopathic manager, be hot, then not.
Harmony Meteor, an affordable USA made guitar, found its way into the hands of many English guitar players in the 1960s.
Some changes from stock. now running a Gretsch style Space Control bridge, pickups changed to vintage Japanese Rickenbacker style pickups, and tuners changed to repro Kluson style.
Intonation and set up is damn near perfect, and as I'm sure you know, Harmony guitars can be a bit hit or miss...but this one, is a good one.
The Harmony Meteor has been hot, then not, and now it's hot again..so my advice to you would be, don't snooze.
Made in the USA, maybe played by Keith Richards, (but probably not)
No case, should fit in a 335 style, ask our friendly staff for options.
Weight: 2.8kgs.
"You know that every time I see you a-walking down the street
You got a mystifying wiggle from your head to your feet
You got a shock wave pulsating rhythm through my brain
You know you're so mystifying, you just ain't the same" - The Kinks, So Mystifying.
