c1960s Guyatone LG-55W (Japan, Sunburst, HSC)
Rat rod Guyatone LG-55W.
The W stands for 2 pickup, of course.
Non-original metal bridge, and the rocker switches have been bypassed, so it's volume for each pickup and a tone that doesn't work..who needs tone anyways.
Picture yourself in a boat on a river..no actually picture yourself, rocking up with this guitar in its cute triangle case, plugging into some nasty low watt 60s tube amp, and jamming on some Sonics songs (if you don't know who the Sonics are, ask your Great Grandparents).
Point is, these early Japanese solids are the best thing in the world for the above...and great things have started in Army bunkers in Villawood, but that is a story for another day.
Frets good, tuners, good enough, truss good, sound unbeatable.
Made in Japan, no serial,
Weight: 10kgs (just kidding, it's 2.25kgs)
