c1960s Teisco TB-64 (Japan, Sunburst)

SOLD!

Description

Proper Teisco Bass VI with monkey grip and 3 of the best sounding pickups I've ever heard. Chuck on the soundtrack of 'Death Rides A Horse' by Morricone and you'll kinda hear the sound that this bass can do. I dunno if one of these was used but damn, that is the sound...This Bass is just the thing for recording, and tough for gigging too. Freshly set up, truss is fully working and currently strung up with D'Addario EXL157 Bass VI strings which suit it very well. Truly cool piece of Japanese guitar making history. Small low frets..(they came out this way) some minor pitting..but plays great and does 'that' thing...so well. One of the knobs looks like a replacement but I don't think it is as I have seen these with matching knobs and without so who knows...hop in a time machine and lemme know. Switch is a bass cut..and all electronics are working how they should. What a ripper bass..Made in Japan.. Does not come with a case, but as the Bass has a handle that you can carry it with, maybe you don't need one. SN 139060 Weight: 4.05kgs
