Description
One of my favourte 1960s original Japanese guitar designs... The Nivico SG-18 (by Victor). Striking 'offset' shape with a highly idiosyncratic chrome-plated pickguard. Rocker switches to activate each individual pickup. Rhythm 'solo' switch is not doing anything... and neither is the truss rod... Surfy feeling trem not worlds away from something you'd see on a Jazzmaster or Jaguar. Playability is definitely something you'd expect out of a mid range Teisco (i.e. not amazing) but this one's definitely a super characterful instrument. Priced accordingly. Dare to be different. Weight 3.9kg. Includes the original hardcase, that you could play pool on the inside surface of (green felt) "Positive anything is better than negative nothing." - Elbert Hubbard
