c1968 Yamaha FG-180 Red Label (Japan, Natural, OHSC)

Yamaha FG-180 Red Label in neat overall condition, especially for one of the early Nippon Gakki builds. Finish still carries a good amount of lustre and the guard presents well. Neck geometry is relatively solid on this one, with comfortable action for a Yamaha of this era, and most importantly, that classic, woody FG punch these are loved for. A tidy, honest example with plenty of life left and a great strum. Built between '68 and '71 with a serial that places it around '69.
