Description

Whoever said that you can't buy cool obviously never had the chance to purchase a real Dan Armstrong.  Famously used by Walter Becker from Steely Dan, and maybe a bit les famously by Justin Pearson from The Locust depending on which decade you were born in.

Turns out this one is only 6 instruments away from the one Walter played on Midnight Special!  Crazy what you can find on the internet hey!

This is a very clean example, no cracks, splits or dents anywhere in the lucite. Truss rod is working and the neck is free of twists, lots of fret left, comes with one original pickup which reads 19K! Very Spicy!

Machine heads have been replaced with Schallers at some point in it's existance.  Back of the neck shows some playwear but feels super comfortable, it's actually slimmer than the Dan Armstrong Electric we also have in stock!

There were around 2000 of these made in the inital run between '69-'71, and ones in this condition are becoming VERY hard to find.

 Don't sleep.

Comes with a vintage Greco case with happy yellow interior.

Made in the USA.

Weight: 4.45kg

Serial D548A (Walters was D554A).
