No frills rocker..suitable for southpaws. Action is not 'on the deck' but it is very playable the way it is now..Could be set up with lighter strings if you have a light touch..but not the kind of bass you would run if you want ' low action, no fret buzz' more like 'medium action, no fret buzz'.
