Description
One of Gibson’s strangest ‘70s creations. The Norlin era made S-1 is equal parts Les Paul, Telecaster fever dream, and forward-thinking experiment. Featuring three Bill Lawrence single-coils, a rotary selector, and a bolt-on maple neck, it’s got a chimey, cutting voice unlike anything else to wear the Gibson logo. This one’s in Ebony with a maple board, and it’s about as clean an example as you’ll find (absurdly clean really). Weird, wonderful, and absolutely stage-ready.
