Description
Mad Stone logo Fernandes from approx '79.
Big as 70s style headstock, 3 bolt neck with a tighter neck join that any late 70s F*****r.
Punchy pickups and dare I say almost period correct Black plastics, courtesy of a knob and pickguard swap.
It sounds lame when people say, 'this will eat your Fender for breakfast' so I won't say that...because, I think brunch would be more appropriate.
Bit of a ding on the bottom bout, which really, just saves you putting it there yourself.
Light pitting on the B and G string all the way up..(the previous owner loved to bend I guess).
All of that aside, this guitar is in very nice condition at, gosh, 46ish years old.
No serial number.
Weight: 3.5kgs
"No matter if fools say we can't win I know I'll fall in love again
Roll away the stone, roll away the stone
So sing - we still got a chance
Baby, in love and sweet romance
Roll away the stone, roll away the stone
Won't you roll away the stone
Why be cold and so alone?
Won't you roll away the stone
Don't you let it die" - Roll Away The Stone, Mott The Hoople.
