Yep, this is a rare beast. I dunno about you, but I am a sucker for the older USA made BC Rich guitars, ever since I saw the gatefold of Aerosmith's Live Bootleg, with Joe Perry wielding a red Rich Bich. As I am sure you know, the US BC Rich guitars are off the show expensive nowadays, as well they should be, in terms of guitar making, they are incredible, and when you think about Travis Bean, Hamer, or even before that the Ampeg Dan Armstrong, the 70s was a hot time for interesting shapes and totally bitchin' guitar builds. Sooo, this is an Aria Pro II copy of a BC Rich Mockinbird. Full neck through construction, and complete crazy wiring, just like the real thing. Dimarzio Dual Sound pickups, Grover Tuners as stock...yep, they really spared no expense. Slim maple neck, stunning fingerboard with classic cloud inlays. Action is beautiful, shoot this thing almost plays itself. I dunno why I am going on, if you are looking at this thing you are well aware..and yeah, its a love it or hate it thing..and those that hate this type of guitar..have probably just never played one. Trust me, you could drop twice this kinda dough and still not have as good, or as cool a guitar as this. Shoot, I'll shut up now..Made in Japan, comes with a vintage yellow lined hardcase.
