Gold Sharp 5 from the first reissue in the 1980s.
This one has been modded with some single coil strat style picks and a 5-way switch. There is a hole left where the old switch was. Even though modded, it sounds very close to the original funnily enough, plenty of twang and bite.
Beautiful star inlays, cool sparkles, cool logo, and of course a very usable cool tremolo.
Not too heavy, at 3.65kgs and heaps of life left in the frets.
Neck is slim and super playable, and as a bonus, it is a set neck.
Made in Japan. Includes the original hardcase.
