c1983 Tokai TCM-80V Dreadnought Pre-War D-45 Style (Japan, Natural, HSC)

First appearing in the Tokai catalogue in 1984, the TCM-80V is a beautifully constructed pre-war style Martin D-45 copy from the golden era of Japanese acoustic building. This one is a beauty. The finish has yellowed off nicely over time, giving it a warm, lived-in look without tipping into abuse. Plenty of saddle height left, strong fundamentals, and that open, chiming top end these are known for. Sounds stunning in the room and has just been freshly serviced.
