Description
What is a rare thing? A mid 1980s Japanese made Fender Rosewood Telecaster. Even rarer? A mid 1980s Japanese Fender Rosewood Telecaster with a factory satin finish.
Yep, this is the Fender Japan TL-69 98…a very close to original Rosey spec Telecaster, with maple seam, skunk stripe and maple plugged truss rod. These were available in a gloss finish or a satin finish, and this is the first time I have held the satin version in my hands.
Frets are in good shape, body and neck are in good shape. This guitar has been incredibly well looked after.
If you have always lusted after one of these, here it is. No, it's not cheap, but when you think about it, this was the first reissue of the iconic '69 Telecaster, made in a very similar fashion with crazy attention to detail.
It's a bloody special thing.
Comes with Fender ultra padded leather look gig bag.
