Yes you could call this a partscaster, but point is this guitar is (to quote Sammy Hagar) 'The best of both worlds'.
Its a TL52SPL neck (yep the Fender Japan Keith 'Micawber' model, with a high end MIJ TLC62-62BEX (Fender Ex Trad factory nitro finished) Telecaster Custom body.
The bridge is obviously off the Micawber body..brass, one saddle replaced.
Pickups look to be stock from one or the other...no markings, bridge pickup has the customary brass bottom.
Anyways, yes, a Partscaster...but it is the best partscaster Telecaster..in the world...
Maple board on a Telecaster Custom body...it's gotta be a good thing.
Neck dates to '89, body to probably around the same time.
Come and take it for a spin...or take my word for it...this is one cool Telecaster.
