Yairi built Alvarez for export, and this model is fairly uncommon to find on our shores. Sunburst spruce top with Mahogany back, sides, and neck. Rosewood board with a star motif in the inlays which is carried through to the bridge. It looks like at some point somebody took issue with the happy little stars and coloured them in with a sharpie, but you could apply some elbow grease to shine em up again (don't use acetone!!!!)
A great player at a great price, just begging to end up in a new home. Comes in an Yairi hardcase with plastic still over the badge.
