People always talk about JJ Cale when confronted with a Dano Convertible…but I’m sure that if JJ Cale owned one of these he would have routed 5 pickups into it and cut a hole in the back for some reason..Anyway, who cares…these are the business.
Lipstick pickup, hollow design..good fast cheap, and sounds like nothing else.
This one we ‘ave here has been played and shows the signs of a life well lived.
The dual concentric knob/pot has been replaced with a single volume (who needs tone?) and I think simplifying everything is the key to a happy life…if not the key then the lock..or something.
Neck is straight, bridge is kooky, this thing is cool, or kool as the kool kids say nowadays.
This thing sounds good playing Keith Hudson or Dr Alimintado songs..it is indeed, the best dressed chicken in the town..
Colour may or may not be Seal Brown, but it is definitely brown..but Seal Brown sounds better (arrghhh, arggghhh)
Made in Korea, no serial..
