c1990s Fujigen PP4-380 (Japan, Black)
Gee, I wonder which guitar factory made this guitar..Yep, you guessed it, Fujigen.
This is the barely ever seen Fujigen PP4-380, from a short run of guitars made by Fujigen in the 90s.
Famously, they made a Shonen Knife signature guitar in this shape too, in yellow, with a different pickup combination.
You've gotta love the aesthetics of this guitar, a little bit of every cool 60s mail order guitar thrown into one basket. 2 single coil pickups, simple volume and tone and pickup selector, right on.
The Black finish was a non-catalog colour, which has a cool textured feel to it. The headstock can also be used as a bayonet, should you so wish.
All over good condition, some tarnishing to the nickel hardware, some wear on the body, but frets are good.
This is a lightweight, well built, and very cool sounding guitar, that doesn't pop up for sale very often at all.
