Description
Beautiful condition Jerry Jones Sitar.
Get your Beatles wig on and step straight back to 67 (or don't).
These USA-made kook machines were modeled after the original 1960s Vincent Bell Coral Sitar built by Danelectro.
Construction follows the classic Jerry Jones and Danelectro recipe with a poplar frame between Masonite top and back, giving it that slightly hollow, lively feel.
It has a 25 inch scale, painted maple neck, a fairly flat 14.5 inch radius, Indian rosewood fingerboard, six on a side Gotoh tuners, 21 medium jumbo frets, and the signature intonated buzz bridge that makes all the droney magic happen.
The Coral Electric Sitar was originally created by Vincent Bell, a studio guitarist who worked with Daniel Nathan at Danelectro in the 1960s.
Originals still fetch strong money due to their rarity, but I can guarantee, this Jerry Jones will outplay an original a million times over.
This one comes in the uncommon white crackle finish. Very cool. Very rare.
Made in the USA.
Comes with the original hardshell case too.
"Good sense, innocence, cripplin' mankind
Dead kings, many things I can't define
Occasions, persuasions clutter your mind
Incense and peppermints, the color of time
Who cares what games we choose
Little to win, but nothing to lose" - Strawberry Alarm Clock.
