Description

Stunning looking, and sounding C50 made by Teruaki Nakade.

Teruaki’s father Sakazo was a famous builder of guitars in Japan and Teruaki started making guitars at the age of 15. In 1966, he moved to Madrid, Spain to study under Hernández y Aguado, Manuel Hernández and Victoriano Aguado. Upon returning to Japan, he opened his own workshop. His guitars, influenced by Hernández y Aguado designs, featured his unique touch and were produced until his retirement in 2011. Although not as famous as his father or Masaru Kohno, Teruaki was a highly skilled luthier, and the quality of his work speaks volumes.

The guitar we have here features solid Rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top.

Geometry is perfect, yep, this guitar was definitely built to last.

Aside from a little wear, that you would expect from a guitar of this age, it is in very good condition indeed.

Bright and snappy, but still warm with plenty of volume.

Lovely find, and should make the new owner extremely happy.

Made in Japan in 1971.
