Description
Maple neck-through construction with laminated body wings, bound rosewood fingerboard and oval inlays. Solid, stiff neck with plenty of sustain and a fairly chunky low end. Medium-to-wide neck profile that feels very period.
Finish shows normal cosmetic wear for age. Nothing out of character. Frets are in good order and it plays cleanly up the neck. Hardware and electronics are original and functioning as they should. Some clear aesthetic oxidisation to metal parts.
A well-built Japanese neck-through bass from a good era that modern manufacturing would be charging you 4 times the asking for.
