1994 Gibson Granada Mastertone Banjo (USA, Yamano, OHSC)
Yamano import Gibson 'Granada' Banjo on the tail end of the Greg Rich era.
The Granada was pretty much the top of the tree in the Gibson banjo range, an extremely well built, loud but very toneful instrument.
This era of Gibson is considered by many to be a bit of a purple patch, and Gibson Banjos from this time have become very collectable in their own right.
Really in very nice condition, some tarnishing to the gold parts, but in good working order, plenty of life in the frets.
The neck and back of have some ridiculous flame, which wouldn't mean anything if it didn't sound good...but, gosh, it sounds really, really, damn good.
Made in the USA and comes with the original hardshell case and some paperwork, also, a really nice leather strap.
